Working with Grief

This series of workshops are facilitated by our highly trained Counselling Team at The Kirkwood.

This 1-day CPD accredited workshop, facilitated by our highly qualified Counselling Team, looks at understanding the physical, emotional and psychological effects of grief and will enable participants to develop their skills and knowledge when working with bereaved people.

Topics will include:

• Recognising the elements of the grieving process
• Understanding how attached is central to working with grief
• Identifying how grief manifests in different individuals
• The importance of rites and rituals in processing grief.
   

Each of our workshops will provide 6.5 hours of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points. 
All sessions will be held in-person at The Kirkwood, 21 Albany Road, Dalton, Huddersfield, HD5 9UY
