Light up a Life - Sunday (Dalton)

Join us on Sunday, 8th December, at 5pm in The Kirkwood Gardens to celebrate Unity and Remembrance by Dedicating a Light to a loved one this winter.

As the days grow shorter and the nights longer, there’s a unique warmth that fills the air. A warmth not just from the lights we kindle, but from the unity we hold as a community. This December, we invite you to be a part of something that brings us all together to share all that unites us: what we love, remembrance, and the power of a community. 

Light up a Life is more than just a moment to remember those we've lost, it's an opportunity to celebrate the connections that unite us all. By dedicating a light to someone special, you join a community that stands together, remembering lives that have touched us, and reflecting on the common bonds that bring us together. In addition to making a dedication, we invite you to join us for a series of services in The Kirkwood Gardens. After our Light up a Life event, our picturesque gardens will transform into a haven of light throughout the festive period, with each light on our tree shining out in memory of those you love.

When you make a dedication to your loved one, you will receive a heartfelt handwritten card with your loved one's name presented, with an invitation to attend one of our Light up a Life events in December. Each of our memorable evenings features readings, music, and moments for reflection, as well as the lighting of our tree, each light shining brightly in memory of your loved ones.

Our online dedication page is a place where you can choose to remember your loved one by sharing a special message and a photo if you wish. This page is a long and lasting way to remember someone you love and your precious memories, you can invite family and friends to view your tribute too – wherever they are.

To make a dedication, simply click the button below.

If you choose make a dedication online, we'll automatically send you a personalised card bearing the name of the person you love. If you would like to attend one of our in-person events, please get in touch with our team at: fundraising@thekirkwood.org.uk, after making your dedication online to reserve your tickets.
