Intro to Palliative & End of Life Care
This 1-day CPD course, will provide an introduction and overview to palliative and end of life care, allowing participants to be able to support those living with life-limiting illnesses.
By the end of this course, participants will:
- Have an awareness of the principles & aims for caring for people with multiple needs at the end of life
- Identify any fears/worries about caring for someone who is approaching the end of life
- Identify the tools needed to communicate with different people at end of life
- Identify ways to cope with the bereavement process for themselves, families & carers
Please note that this course provides 6 hours of CPD (Continuing Professional Development)

All sessions will be from 9.30am until 4.45pm: Workshops will be held at The Kirkwood.
