The Kirkwood Pub Hop

Join us for The Kirkwood Pub Hop on Saturday 6th September 2025, a brand-new, 9-mile charity pub hop, through the stunning Kirklees countryside. With stops at some of the area's best-loved pubs, and plenty of cheer along the way, it’s the perfect mix of fresh air, fundraising and fun, all in support of The Kirkwood, your local hospice care charity.

Get ready for a brand new event that blends feel good fundraising with fresh air and a fantastic pub atmosphere! The route begins at the The Hare & Hounds in Upper Hopton and ends at the The Foxglove in Kirkburton, with a carefully planned route through footpaths, trails and village roads. Along the way, you’ll visit a selection of brilliant pubs, where you can take a break, enjoy a drink, and soak up the lively atmosphere.

Whether you’re a real ale enthusiast, a walking fanatic, or simply up for a laugh with your friends and family, this is the perfect way to enjoy a sociable Saturday and make a real difference to local people living with life limiting illnesses.

Fundraising:

Ticket: £20 (+ small booking fee)

Minimum suggested sponsorship: £25 per person
