Kirkwood Hospice Winter Woolly Day 2016!

Last Friday, 16th December, businesses and individuals across Kirklees dug out their best (and worst!) festive jumpers and took part in our Winter Woolly Day to raise funds for Kirkwood Hospice.

Once again in 2016, offices and homes across Kirklees were filled with woolly knits and festive cheer as people wore their favourite Christmas jumpers for the day and donated £1 to Kirkwood Hospice for the privilege.

With no jumper too over-the-top, anything went on Winter Woolly Day and whatever attire was chosen, the aim was to help raise funds to maintain the care of patients with life-threatening illnesses across Kirklees.

Kirkwood also encouraged local people to take the fun even further by hosting their own festive fundraisers on the day in aid of Kirkwood Hospice.
