Sunflower Memories Garden Party

Join us for a celebration in The Kirkwood Gardens from 11am - 3pm on Saturday 8th August, among the vibrant atmosphere with family and friends celebrating the lives of your loved ones

There’s something for everyone to enjoy at this free, family friendly event. 

Find your dedicated sunflower plaque amongst a stunning garden display, then dive into delicious BBQ, mouthwatering sweet treats, stalls to explore, maybe even pick up a new plant. You'll also have the chance to cheer on our amazing volunteer gardeners. It's going to be a truly special and lively day of remembrance

 

Enjoy a relaxing summer's day in The Kirkwood Gardens with your family and friends, this August and celebrate the lives of your loved ones past and present.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, including freshly cooked food from our BBQ, and tasty sweet treats that will be available to buy. There will also be live entertainment throughout the day, plenty of stalls to peruse, as well as crafts and face paints, with the option to donate towards helping our volunteer gardening team continue their incredible work, creating a safe and serene space for our in-patients and their families to enjoy.

Our Sunflower Memories Garden Party is also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the vital work of The Kirkwood with one of our team members on hand on the day.

If you’ve made a dedication to our Sunflower Memories Appeal, you’ll be able to view your Sunflower plaque among a beautiful display and take it home with you. If you would like to make a dedication to a loved one, you can do so by clicking here. 

If you can't make this year's event or prefer to take part in Sunflower Memories in your own way, you can still make a dedication - your plaques will be available from the 16th August to collect at anytime from our gardens and frames from reception.

Entry on the day is free, with donations welcome.
