2017 Midnight Memory Walk

The Midnight Memory Walk is back on Saturday 24th June! As we celebrate Kirkwood Hospice’s 30th Birthday, 2017 is set to be our biggest and best walk yet!

Beginning at the University of Huddersfield, we have a brand new six or ten mile circular route for you to take on this June at our biggest event of the year.

The Midnight Memory Walk begins with entertainment and registration at 10pm on Saturday 24th June, 2017. On the stroke of midnight, confetti cannons will pierce the night air to signal the start of the sponsored walk. 

The entry fee is just £15 per person (£8 for walkers aged 16 and under).

A walk to remember!

Whether you are walking in memory of a loved one, to get fit, to test out your fundraising skills or simply to have a great night out with friends and family and help us celebrate our special Birthday, the Midnight Memory Walk is the perfect opportunity to dust off your walking shoes and challenge yourself!

Whatever your reason, the 2017 Midnight Memory Walk promises to be a night not to be missed as fellow Hospice supporters come together for our biggest fundraising event of the year.

Once signed up, each walker will receive their Midnight Memory Walk pack, including sponsor forms and a T-shirt to wear on the night of the walk.

On the night itself, a vibrant party atmosphere awaits as we celebrate Kirkwood turning 30 with entertainment, live music and face painting leading up to midnight. A group warm-up will get your body pumped and ready to take on the challenge. 

Each walker will be presented with a well-earned breakfast butty, hot drink and medal at the finish line, which you can wear with pride knowing that you are supporting your local Hospice to care for those with life-limiting illnesses across Kirklees.
