Lynne Hall-Bentley

Director of Clinical Services

Lynne joined The Kirkwood as Director of Clinical Services in March 2022.

Lynne is passionate about delivering great care based on the individual needs of our patients, their families and those who care for them. Her focus us on ensuring everyone in our care receives the very best support.

During a varied career, Lynne has worked in a range of health care settings across community, primary care and hospital services. As a registered nurse, Lynne has been involved with nursing, professional leadership and clinical service transformation, working in posts such as Practice Development Nurse, Nurse Manager and Assistant Director of Nursing, as well as a number of Director of Operations roles.

Lynne has been involved with the development of a number of services and clinical models of care during her career, including integrated community services, place-based working, complex care and working closely with multi-disciplinary teams involving palliative care and end of life services.

Lynne undertook her nurse training in Sheffield and worked at St James’s Hospital in Leeds before moving to work and live in Huddersfield as a staff nurse. Lynne has lived in Huddersfield ever since but has worked in a number of locations in Yorkshire and the Northwest, including roles in North Kirklees Community Services and at Mid Yorkshire NHS Hospitals Trust as well as in Aintree and Wigan.

After commuting from Huddersfield to the Northwest for several years, Lynne is delighted to be working in Yorkshire once again and being able to give back to the people and communities she cares so much about.

In her personal life, Lynne has a wonderful family and two great kids. She enjoys spending time walking, cooking, reading, travelling and meeting up with friends.
