Trusts and Foundations donate to The Kirkwood

The Kirkwood is incredibly proud to receive a number of donations that have gone on to help pay for vital equipment to Support Life.

We are very appreciative of a number of Trusts and Foundations making significant donations towards our charity in the last few months. Some have donated to us for many years and so again we'd like to thank them for their continued support. 

The funds have paid for vital equipment such as a bath seat, syringe drivers, two concealment trolleys and other special equipment. All these aids help us care for people at the end of their lives. It gives them dignity and respect in a safe and trustworthy setting which is well respected throughout the Kirklees community, an area which The Kirkwood movement is a proud component of.

The donations we have received total up to over £13,000 which is an unbelievable amount and will go towards helping thousands of people across our local area.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Hospice Aid UK, Francis Winham Foundation, Westfield Health Charitable Trust, and Huddersfield War Memorial Trust Fund.

Their safety and comfort are paramount, so having reliable equipment removes unnecessary stresses from the care we provide".
