The Kirkwood welcomes FMG to the Business Movement.

Our mission is to provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive and life limiting illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, and those who care for them, when they need it. Working collectively to ensure these people feel supported to live the best quality of life they can.

An organisation that shares these values is FMG. Robin Lang, Insurance Services Director at FMG, and Board Sponsor for Charity and Wellbeing initiatives at the business, is proud to have joined The Kirkwood Business Movement, commenting, “The Kirkwood Business Movement is a collective of supporters who are passionate about caring for the most vulnerable in the Kirklees community. Pledging our support is something that as a business with longstanding roots in the Huddersfield area, we felt complimented the existing work we already do through our Charity partnerships and allows us to give even more back to our local community.

Joining forces with like-minded local businesses made up of the people who know and love our local area can only ever be a good thing, and with over 700 colleagues now working at FMG, the majority of whom are from Huddersfield and the surrounding areas, means there’s a lot of passion and positive impact we can collectively bring.

Knowing that the relationship will be mutually beneficial, with access to the knowledge and expertise to support our own employees who may be directly or indirectly affected by a life limiting illness allows us to broaden our own Wellbeing commitment too – a real value exchange for all parties.
