The Kirkwood welcomes Ten Fourteen to The Business Movement.

The prestigious Ten Fourteen restaurant in Holmfirth has been supporting The Kirkwood through various events and now they are becoming an official member of our The Kirkwood Business Movement.

They have raised thousands of pounds for us as a charity which has gone on to help hundreds of people across Kirklees who we are caring for who have a life limiting illness.

The restaurant has now joined The Kirkwood business movement and we are delighted to have them on board, we also thank them for their previous fundraising efforts.

These include raising £300 through a Northern Soul and Motown event that was held back in July. They also raised £1,000 to help us provide care for patients and families by hosting a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and at Christmas the restaurant held a special dinner to help us thank all our amazing volunteers. The volunteers were served a fabulous three course meal in the run up to the festive holiday’s.

On fundraising for The Kirkwood Jayne and Nigel who own Ten Fourteen said: ”As a local business we feel it is important to support this incredible local charity. Collectively, with the amazing staff and volunteers we can hopefully make a difference and enable this charity to go from strength to strength.”

Beverley Shaw Business Development Manager thanked Ten Fourteen for their support by saying: “We are delighted to continue to build our relationship with Ten Fourteen.

“Following their introduction to us back in 2022 when they hosted a significant number of volunteers for a Christmas meal, to recognise and say thank you for their hard work and dedication to the charity and welcome them to the business movement.”
