Sheards Accountants raise fantastic funds for The Kirkwood

Over the past twelve months, Sheards Accountants in Huddersfield have  raised an incredible £4,452,35 as The Kirkwood became their employees charity of choice over the past year. 

Everyone involved with The Kirkwood is extremely proud to be associated with such a well known and supportive local businesses like Sheards. Not only have they raised this amount of money over the past twelve months, they raise a further £2,300 in 2021.

Sheards are a member of The Kirkwood Business Movement and have encouraged other local businesses to take part in regular quizzes and Curry Nights, which have been part of their fundraising activities. 

To round up their 2022/23 fundraising, most recently the team have helped with stock donations for our retail outlets, with members of the office bringing in their pre-loved items for onward sale and providing surplus to requirements print paper, for onward use within our support functions. This has been hugely appreciated and again we'd like to thank all those at Sheards for their support. 

The Kirkwood's Business Development Manager Beveley Shaw said of Sheards support: "Sheards are a local employer and we are honored to have their long standing support. When visiting their offices, visible on display is The Kirkwood Supporter Charter and Kirkwood information leaflets for visitors. As a local business, they are keen to help us raise awareness of the various services available to support anyone diagnosed with a life limiting illness in the area. 

"The diversity in their fundraising activities over the last few years has demonstrated the various ways a company can both have fun, but also make a real difference. The amount raised is very much appreciated and a fantastic achievement by everyone involved."
