Reliance Precision Limited joins The Kirkwood Business Movement

Our mission is to provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive and life limiting illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, and those who care for them, when they need it. Working collectively to ensure these people feel supported to live the best quality of life they can.

We are delighted to announce that Reliance Precision Limited has become the latest business to join The Kirkwood's Business Movement.

They have joined an ever growing group of local professionals who believe, like us, that everyone affected by a life limiting illness deserves the very best care and support as they approach the end of their life.

As an organisation that shares these values, the business is proud to have joined The Kirkwood Business Movement.

A spokesperson for the company said: “Founded in 1920, Reliance Precision Limited is a family-owned engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture, assembly and test of highly complex components and sub-assemblies that play a critical role in the performance of the final application. Reliance is an established supplier to a diverse range of global markets including aerospace defence, analytical instruments and space.”

The Kirkwood's Business Development Manager Beverley Shaw said: “Reliance Precision have been long standing supporters to The Kirkwood but I am delighted this has now extended to them becoming part of our Business Movement. We are excited to be supported by being supported by this locally based business, in turn, them helping The Kirkwood support local people across our community.”
