Garry Scott Groundworks, Landscaping & Maintenance joins The Kirkwood Business Movement

Our mission is to provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive and life limiting illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, and those who care for them, when they need it. Working collectively to ensure these people feel supported to live the best quality of life they can.

We are delighted to announce that Garry Scott Groundworks, Landscaping & Maintenance, has become the latest business to join The Kirkwood's Business Movement.

They have joined an ever growing group of local professionals who believe, like us, that everyone affected by a life limiting illness deserves the very best care and support as they approach the end of their life.

As an organisation that shares these values, the business is proud to have joined The Kirkwood Business Movement.

A spokesperson for the company said: “Garry Scott Groundworks, Landscaping & Maintenance, founded in 2006 in Huddersfield, has grown from small domestic projects into major contracts for schools, sports stadia and larger multi-national organisations. GS-GLM prioritises local employment and community support, including charities and humanitarian aid. Services include general groundworks, landscaping, fencing, paving, drainage, resin soft-play areas, playground and car park markings, and ongoing grounds maintenance such as grass cutting, pruning, weed control, and 3G/4G pitch construction and care.”

The Kirkwood's Business Development Manager Beverley Shaw said: “2026 is the 20th anniversary of Garry Scott Groundworks, Landscaping & Maintenance and we are excited Garry has chosen to support us and join the business movement. Based in Slaithwaite, Garry has seen first hand the care and support The Kirkwood provides out in the community.
