Eastwood Insurance Brokers joins The Kirkwood Business Movement

Our mission is to provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive and life limiting illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, and those who care for them, when they need it. Working collectively to ensure these people feel supported to live the best quality of life they can.

We are delighted to announce that Eastwood Insurance Brokers have become the latest company to join The Kirkwood Business Movement. 

They have joined an ever growing group of local professionals who believe, like us, that everyone affected by a life limiting illness deserves the very best care and support as they approach the end of their life.

As an organisation that shares these values, Eastwood Insurance Brokers is proud to have joined The Kirkwood Business Movement. 

Lucy Hodgson, director of the business said of joining the movement: "As a local Huddersfield business, we are delighted to support The Kirkwood and be a part of the business movement. 

"We were privileged to visit The Kirkwood recently and learn about the life changing work that takes place to support people with life limiting illnesses. 

"People often make assumptions about hospice care and when you can actually access that support and we are interested to hear that people can refer themselves, even at the very beginning of their diagnosis. 

"Miranda Leeming from our team is going to be trained as a Support Life Champion so that anyone within our business, affected by a life limiting illness, has someone to turn to."
