Digital Cortex Joins The Kirkwood Business Movement

Our mission is to provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive and life limiting illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, and those who care for them, when they need it. Working collectively to ensure these people feel supported to live the best quality of life they can.

We are delighted to announce that Digital Cortex has become the latest company to join The Kirkwood's Business Movement.

They have joined an ever-growing group of local professionals who believe, like us, that everyone affected by a life limiting illness deserves the very best care and support as they approach the end of their life.

The Digital Cortex is a Huddersfield-based video production company servicing international clients across corporate, documentary, feature film, theatre, short film, and long-term time-lapse. Founder Dave Hackney has a 20+ year background in advertising and commercials. They produce content for a wide array of SME’s, local, regional and national businesses and organisations.

The Digital Cortex has a long history of creating high performing video content for the full spectrum of client organisations including TV Ads, promotional messaging, corporate dramas, and social content. Previous clients include: Hitachi, Panasonic, Siemens, HSBC, and Northern. In addition to the corporate work Dave has also been involved in a number of award-winning feature films including: Polterheist (2018), Seizure (2016), Demon Eye (2019), plus several short films: Tea with the Reaper (2022), and most recently, Hide (2023).
