Christmas Crafters raise funds for The Kirkwood

There have been a number of fantastic people who have made some lovely arts and crafts items to sell that have raised funds for The Kirkwood over the the Christmas period and we would like to say a big thank you to all of them that have put their time and effort in to doing this. 

Thank you to Rosie Robertshaw

Rosie from Liversedge, makes the most beautiful button and bead pictures and sells them to raise money for The Kirkwood via her Facebook page, in the last 12 months, Rosie has raised an incredible £1100. All her pictures can be made in any colour and Rosie can make many different animals, including: elephants, giraffes, penguins, dogs, cats, bumblebees, guinea pigs and unicorns! Look out for her Valentine Hearts, coming soon!

Katherine from Heckmondwike, has raised an amazing £700 from the sales of her Christmas Decs for The Kirkwood via her page on Facebook, Katherine made some amazing wreaths, table decorations, bottle lights and more. A huge thank you to her and to everyone who supported her.

Christine from Flockton, supports The Kirkwood by hand making gorgeous cards for our Support Groups to sell at their events. These have proved really popular and have been in high demand throughout the year. Christine is now working on making some beautiful birthday cards and also some special bookmarks for Valentines Day. 

Thank you to Jenny Barrett

Jenny handmade some fantastic tree decorations which our Support Groups sold at their Christmas events. These were so popular that they raised over £100 during the Christmas period which is amazing.

Madeliene from Gomersal has been busy making bespoke face coverings and bunting for her family and friends to raise funds for The Kirkwood and has recently donated £150.
