Care Counts Joins The Kirkwood Business Movement

Our mission is to provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive and life limiting illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, and those who care for them, when they need it. Working collectively to ensure these people feel supported to live the best quality of life they can.

We are delighted to announce that Care Counts has become the latest business to join The Kirkwood's Business Movement.

They have joined an ever growing group of local professionals who believe, like us, that everyone affected by a life limiting illness deserves the very best care and support as they approach the end of their life.

As an organisation that shares these values, the business is proud to have joined The Kirkwood Business Movement.

A spokesperson for the company said: “Care Counts was founded by Sam Burrows in 2006. We are a registered provider of social care in Huddersfield and are fully CQC registered. In partnership with Kirklees Council and the NHS, we deliver high-quality care packages in people's homes, tailored to meet their individual needs. Our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care extends across all aspects of our service. All staff members undergo secure recruitment processes, including DBS checks, which are updated every three years, alongside extensive training. We conduct rigorous quality assurance checks, ensuring that our standards are clearly defined and consistently monitored.”

The Kirkwood's Business Development Manager Beverley Shaw said: “Care Counts Limited operate across Huddersfield and have regularly supported The Kirkwood, most recently with coffee mornings, raffle etc. We are delighted they have joined The Business Movement.”
