The Digital Cortex is a Huddersfield-based video production company servicing international clients across corporate, documentary, feature film, theatre, short film, and long-term time-lapse. Founder Dave Hackney has a 20+ year background in advertising and commercials. They produce content for a wide array of SMEs, and local, regional and national businesses and organisations.

The Digital Cortex has a long history of creating high performing video content for the full spectrum of client organisations including TV Ads, promotional messaging, corporate dramas, and social content. Previous clients include; Hitachi, Panasonic, Siemens, HSBC, and Northern. In addition to the corporate work, Dave has also been involved in a number of award winning feature films including Polterheist (2018), Seizure (2016), Demon Eye (2019), plus several short films: Tea with the Reaper (2022), and most recently, Hide (2023).
