Mother’s Day in Bloom

Mother’s Day in Bloom is a visual and heartfelt installation, celebrating the love that keeps us going. Join us at Oakwell Hall, from 8th March to 12th April 2026, to witness our stunning, 1,000 Peony strong floral installation.

We invite you to join us and take part in our stunning floral installation, ‘Mother’s Day in Bloom’ this Spring, transforming the embankment leading to Oakwell Halls Walled Garden into a vibrant carpet of pink, featuring 1,000 unique, hand-crafted metal Peonies dedicated to those important mother figures in our lives.
 

This stunning tribute is a welcoming space for everyone to reflect, remember and celebrate the bonds that help us grow. Love knows no labels so whether you are celebrating Mum, Dad, a grandparent, or a chosen guardian, this campaign is for whoever ‘Mum’ is to you.

Mark your calendars for our special Mother's Day event on Sunday, 15th March, where the atmosphere will be filled with extra warmth and celebration!

This free, family-friendly day out is the perfect opportunity to spend a relaxing day together and celebrate the lives of your loved ones, past and present, amidst the blooms.

 

Be part of our stunning installation this spring adding your Peony to our installation for £30 per flower, including your dedication to our installation in the grounds of Oakwell Hall, creating a carpet of blooms for you and the public to view. These handcrafted Peonies are unique keepsakes. Just as no mother figure is the same, no two flowers will be the same.

 

Once the installation concludes in April, your Peony is yours to keep forever and to take home as a lasting keepsake. You can collect your Peony from The Kirkwood in Dalton, from April 20th to the 25th, or for a small additional fee of £7 you can opt to have your Peony posted to you. To add postage, make sure to add this to your order when purchasing your Peony. Peonies will be posted from April 27th, ready to bloom in your own garden when it arrives.
