Christmas to come early at Kirkwood Hospice’s Christmas Fair!

Kirkwood Hospice are busy hanging up the tinsel and ‘decking the halls’ as preparations are well underway for our upcoming Christmas Fair at The University of Huddersfield

Kirkwood Hospice are urging local supporters and festive friends to get in the seasonal spirit this November at our annual Christmas Fair event.

Held in a brand new venue for 2017, the Kirkwood Christmas Fair will take place in the Oastler Building at the University of Huddersfield on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November.

Following the success of last year’s event with in excess of 1,000 visitors over two days of magical festive fun, Kirkwood’s Christmas Fair is back and promises to have something for all the family to enjoy.

An array of traditional Christmas stalls showcasing a range of presents, gifts and crafts for adults and children of all ages will be on offer, enabling enthusiastic festive-lovers to get all their Christmas shopping done well in advance of the big day.

There won’t be a dull moment in sight with yuletide music from local school choirs, brass bands and an appearance from festive farmyard animals all on the agenda for the weekend.

“We have over 48 stalls selling a wonderful range of unique Christmas gifts and treats and well as entertainment for the whole family! We will be joined by a real life festive farm, donkeys and even Santa himself will be making an appearance to read stories to the children.

“This is a great weekend to shop for the perfect gifts for your loved ones and maybe even picking up a treat for yourself too.”

The Kirkwood Hospice Christmas Fair will be open 10am – 5pm on Saturday 18th November and 11am – 4pm on Sunday 19th November.

Entry fee for adults is just £2 and children under the age of 16 go for free.
