Charity Golf Day

Time to dust off those golf clubs, Martin Folan’s, 18th annual Charity Golf Day is back for 2025. Raising money in support of The Kirkwood in memory of Bridie and Bomber, Stephen Jones. Michael Kay. 

Following another sold out year in 2024, we’re delighted to announce that Martin Folan’s, Charity Golf Day is returning this Summer. Now in its 18th year. We invite you to join Martin and the team on Saturday, 14th June, at the Bradley Park Golf Club to take part in a day of healthy competition and fundraising in support of The Kirkwood.

The Kirkwood was founded by a group of local people who believed that everyone deserved the very best care and support as they approached the end of their life, and we are reliant on the support of local people who believe in the difference The Kirkwood makes for anyone affected by life-limiting illnesses. 

Holding his first fundraiser in aid of The Kirkwood back in 2006, Martin decided to turn his love for golf into a fundraiser in memory of his sister, Bridie Foster and brother-in-law, Kevin Foster, fondly known as Bomber by those close to him. Gathering 20 of his closest friends and fellow golfers for a trip to Galway in Ireland. Martin’s Charity Golf Day became an annual event in 2007 and continues to thrive as an annual fundraising event. By taking part in the Charity Golf Day, you’re helping The Kirkwood to reach more people in need and support more families and carers who don’t know where to turn. 

Enter as a team of four and enjoy exclusive use of the Bradley Park Golf Course alongside other teams participating on the day, with the opportunity to add a little friendly competition to your day and take part in our Signature Hole challenge, with the chance of winning some great prizes. 

Winners will be announced during the evening's presentation, followed by a Disco and Karaoke. 

Please note: As in previous years we will be allocating the tee-off times for each team on a first come, first served basis. To have the best chance of securing your preferred time, be sure to add your preferred time on the form when registering to avoid disappointment. 

The registration fee is £160 per team of four. 

The registration fee includes hot food and drinks before and after the golf round, free entry into the signature hole competition, use of our 18-hole golf course and clubhouse, and an evening of presentations and followed by a Disco and Karaoke.
