Palliative and End of Life Care Education Directory
The Kirklees and Calderdale Palliative and End of Life Care Education group work together to develop this directory.
It is somewhere where you can find the training offer provided for palliative and end of life care across our localities. There is always development of new education opportunities, so please look out for updated versions throughout the year.
The group consists of the following organisations:




The aim of our group is to promote sector wide collaboration in education delivery to ensure agreed standards for education and equity of access to education, enhancing palliative and end of life care for people in Kirklees and Calderdale.
Our ambition is to provide a high standard of clinical education across all sectors. By working together and standardising the approach to education, we ensure that our training and education across both Kirklees and Calderdale is quality assured and developed in line with current standards, best practice and evidence, as well as providing consistency of practice standards.
We aim to provide specialist training for all services and providers to increase capability confidence and skill, enhancing the quality of care for as many people as possible across Kirklees and Calderdale.
Providing care and support for people at the end of their life is a privilege, but we know that there are challenges and complexities to being able to do this. We want everyone to receive excellent palliative and end of life care, after all we have one chance to get it right, by providing compassionate, dignified, person centred care.
