Finance Management Accountant
The Kirkwood provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, respecting their individual needs and wishes. Care and support are also provided for their family members, friends, and carers, both during the illness and after death. Through education, training, and partnership with others, we improve care for everyone affected by a life limiting illness.
The role of Finance Management Accountant will ensure the delivery of responsive day to day financial services which adhere to statutory compliance and are also aligned to corporate objectives as defined in The Kirkwood’s Strategic Plan. Maintaining and providing clear, timely and accurate financial information to the Finance Manager, Executive Management Team, Finance and Resources Committee and Council as required. Acting as line management and support for the Finance Officer and Finance Assistants ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. Deputising for the Finance Manager when required. Supporting the Finance Manager to deliver the overall objectives of The Kirkwood’s Finance Strategy.
