Stewart Whiteley scoops Top Prize

As part of a Prize Draw for the 2017 Midnight Memory Walk, devoted Kirkwood supporter and worthy winner, Stewart Whiteley, takes home the top prize of an iPad Mini.

Taking part in Kirkwood Hospice’s 2017 Midnight Memory Walk, loyal Hospice supporter, Stewart Whiteley, joined in the atmosphere with a group of friends and family to raise impressive funds in loving memory of his late wife, Lorraine Whiteley, who died at the Hospice last year.

Little did Stuart know that he was being automatically entered into a prize draw to win the top prize of an iPad Mini.

Hoping to boost sponsorship for the Hospice’s biggest event of the year, all participants of the 2017 Midnight Memory Walk returning funds before an allocated cut-off date earlier in the year were automatically entered into the draw.

"The 2017 Midnight Memory Walk was a wonderful night. We took part to raise money for a tremendous cause, and to help other families in situations like ours." Stewart Whiteley

Luckily for Stewart, he was the chosen one.

Stewart said: “The 2017 Midnight Memory Walk was a wonderful night. We took part to raise money for a tremendous cause, and to help other families in situations like ours.

“My wife passed away in the Hospice last year so I have seen first-hand the great cause, for both the patient and the family.

“I’m very happy with the iPad – I didn’t know I was even in the draw, I was just happy to take part and raise money. Although it is something I can cross of my Christmas List now!”
