Zip Line for The Kirkwood

Are you ready to take on our brand new adrenaline fuelled challenge? Race your friends down one of the fastest ziplines in the world at Zip World this September.

On Saturday, 6th September, you and your friends could be reaching speeds up to 100 mph+, across 4 parallel lines, at our new adrenaline fuelled fundraising challenge. 
 

Velocity is a 1555 metre zip line comprising of a total of 2 zip lines aptly titled the 'Little Zipper' and 'The Big Zipper' and the whole experience will take participants around 2 hours to complete. There are some restrictions for this experience, highlighted below:

Max weight - Max 130kg
Min height - Min (1.2m)
For people zipping with under 18's - There will need to be a ratio of 1 adult to 3 under 18's taking part

Price: £50 per person.
Sponsorship: £275 minimum, per person.
 

 

Every pound you raise will help families in your local community to access the care they need, when and where they need it, every step of the way.
The minimum sponsorship to take part is £275.

Setting up a JustGiving page is an easy way for you to share your fundraising and cast a wider net of potential sponsors. 

JustGiving will let you link your fundraising page to our campaign page with the option to share links on socials, email, WhatsApp and even create QR codes to pop on a poster to pin up on the bulletin board at work or the gym.

A truly exhilarating experience, Zip World, Velocity is located in North Wales near the stunning Snowdon range, in what once was the world’s largest slate quarry, Penrhyn Quarry is now home to the fastest zip line in the world, where you can fly 500m above the bright blue quarry lake.
