Skydive - September 2024

Take a leap of faith for The Kirkwood on Sunday 8th September 2024 and jump from the UK's highest skydive, freefall from 15,000ft at speeds reaching up to 120mph in this once in a lifetime experience.

If you are an adventurous individual looking to break boundaries and push your limits, you’re in the right place. With no previous experience necessary, you could be taking to the skies this September, jumping from 15,000ft in support of all those we care for at The Kirkwood.

Calling all daredevils! Registration is open for September's epic Skydive challenge.

On the day, you will be greeted by our friendly fundraising team, who will guide you through the on-the-day registration process.

The Kirkwood was founded by a group of local people who believed that everyone deserved the very best care and support as they approached the end of their life, creating a hospice for Kirklees. The Kirkwood movement is made up of amazing local people, united behind one common purpose – to ensure the people of Kirklees have access to the very best end of life care. To help us deliver this, we rely on the support of local people who believe in the difference The Kirkwood makes for anyone affected by life-limiting illnesses.
