Manchester Half Marathon

Will you put your running shoes on to raise money for The Kirkwood and run the 2024 Manchester Half Marathon?

The Manchester Half is a 13.1 mile challenge that takes place every May, starting and finishing by Old Trafford, and is easily the biggest in the region with over 16,000 runners. It’s an event that aims to truly represent all the wonderful people of Manchester and celebrate our achievements.

The Kirkwood was founded by a group of local people who believed that everyone deserved the very best care and support as they approached the end of their life, creating a hospice for Kirklees. The Kirkwood movement is made up of amazing local people, united behind one common purpose – to ensure the people of Kirklees have access to the very best end of life care. To help us deliver this, we rely on the support of local people who believe in the difference The Kirkwood makes for anyone affected by life-limiting illnesses.
